Hey, remember yesterday, when I promised all kinds of exciting art and creations? Ha. Jokes. Kidding. Didn't happen. I started cutting a pattern for some leather, but then I decided that I ought to fulfill my responsibilities and get wedding invitations done. So... that's what I did. While watching Oddities. For over three hours. So, productivity? Definitely. But for privacy reasons I have nothing to show for all of my efforts. Though I will say this- I am fantastic at faux calligraphy. I'm developing quite a skill of it. Which is always a delight. Always good. Hem hem hem. But now I am beyond exhausted. I shall now fall asleep on top of a couple of books, and listen to the scratching and chewing of my mice.
Oh! Something I learned today. In some countries, there is a fairy tale of something similar to a tooth fairy, but instead of a fairy, it is a mouse. The mouse comes in and takes the teeth, and leaves a gift under the pillow. Basically the tooth fairy... but it's a mouse. Which is just so fanciful. After all, what on earth would a mouse do with teeth? A fairy, I can see. Fairies are often fickle and dangerous, and I can see them using teeth for all kinds of things. But mice... Why would mice want the teeth of human children?
