This morning I woke up crying, after some particularly devastating and disturbing dreams. To make matters worse, it was still raining and grey and very bleak outside, so there wasn't even sunshine to pump some good, clean, sun-shiny joy into my body. My husband is amazing, so he helped me feel better, but even he said that he had had weird and bad dreams. Apparently it was that kind of night and morning for everyone. Maybe something in the weather.
Because it was so bleak, we decided that it was a day to curl up in sweaters and with tea, not get out of pajamas, and watch movies. We made some soft boiled eggs and soldiers, tea, and settled down to watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. We watch our movies via XBox. The avatar for the profile that we use on XBox was beyond ridiculous (for unknown and unclear reasons), so before watching the movie we decided to make it a little bit less insane. Thus, our avatar is now modeled after Hunter S. Thompson, specifically Johnny Depp's presentation of Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The only thing that is missing is a visor or a fishing hat (XBox didn't have either). Still, we have a balding man with aviators in a tropical shirt and chinos, wearing socks and sandals. While looking angry or grimacing.
You can almost hear the avator saying 'We can't stop here! This is bat country!'
Though he is missing his cigarette and its holder.
